Not so long ago
Work was a dangerous place
Death, accidents and incidents
Sadly commonplace

But the people had enough
Workplace safety was enforced
But now the wealthy call it 'red tape'
And scrapping it's endorsed

Torn away by those in power with no fuss
Always felt the days were moving us forwards
Now it appears more like time runs backwards

In the recent past
People grew appalled
Of sewage dumped into the sea
So it was all outlawed

Now profit above all
Is the country's creed
Our beaches unsafe once again
Thanks to ravenous greed
